SkillsUSA State Carpentry Competition Judges & Volunteers Needed

Inland Northwest AGC is proud to run the 2026 SkillsUSA State Carpentry Competition at Clover Park Technical College, and we need industry pros like you to help shape the future of the trades.
This isn’t just a student competition. It’s a front-row seat to the next generation of craft professionals and a chance to help set the standard for excellence in our industry.
High school and college competitors will put their skills to the test in real-world carpentry challenges, including blueprint reading, framing, finishing work, cabinetry, precision cutting, joinery, and installation techniques. They’ll work under pressure, solve problems on the fly, and demonstrate the craftsmanship, safety awareness, and professionalism required on today’s jobsites.
As a judge or volunteer, you’ll help evaluate performance, mentor emerging talent, and play a direct role in developing tomorrow’s workforce. Your experience helps ensure students are learning what actually matters in the field, not just in the classroom.
Top competitors will advance to the national competition, representing our region on the biggest stage in career and technical education.
